Academy of Television Arts & Sciences

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS), also known as the Television Academy, is a professional honorary organization that focuses on the television industry in the United States. It is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization. It was founded in 1946.^[1] It presents the Primetime Emmy Awards.^[2]
