Charlie Waitt
American baseball player
Charlie Waitt (born October 14, 1853 in Hallowell, Maine – October 21, 1912) was a professional baseball player. He was teased, taunted and called a "sissy" for wearing what was one of the first baseball gloves ever worn.[1]
