Civilization III or Civ 3 is a turn based strategy computer game by Firaxis Games from 2001. It is the third part of the successful Civilization series. The game has two expansion sets, Play the World and Conquests. In the game, you control a nation from the Stone Age to the modern Age. Civilization III has many new innovations in contrast with Civilization II. Strategic resources and country borders exist, and the nation, not the cities, will support the military units.
