Biography change

College Career change

He attended the University of Maryland and played for the Terrapins from 2015 to 2017.

Professional Career change

He was selected by the Carolina Panthers as the 24th overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, making him the first wide receiver chosen in that draft. He later signed a 4-year contract with a signing bonus of $6.2 million.[1]

In his second week against the Atlanta Falcons, he scored his first touchdown on his very first NFL reception. However, in the final seconds of the game, he missed catching a pass from his quarterback Cam Newton that could have sent the game into overtime. He finished his rookie season with 788 yards on 55 receptions and 2 touchdowns, earning a spot on the league's All-Rookie Team selected by the Pro Football Writers Association.[2]

The following season, he became one of the main targets among the team's wide receivers, ending the season as the Panthers' top receiver with 1,175 receiving yards.

In March 2022, he signed a new 3-year contract worth $61.9 million with the Panthers.[3]

In March 2023, the Panthers traded Moore, the 9th overall pick in the 2023 draft, and three other draft picks to the Chicago Bears in exchange for the first overall pick in the 2023 draft.[4]
