Dera Ismail Khan District

Dera Ismail Khan District is a district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The city of Dera Ismail Khan is the capital. It is the most southern district of KPK and has an area of 7,326 km2 (2,829 sq mi) and a population of 852,995 as of the 1998 Census. The main language of the district is a dialect of Saraiki.
