Franklin D. Roosevelt was inaugurated as the 32nd president of the United States on Saturday, March 4, 1933.
This inauguration was the beginning of the first term of Franklin D. Roosevelt as President and John Nance Garner as Vice President.
It was the last inauguration to be held on March 4. All since then have been held on January 20.
