French New Wave

The New Wave (French: La Nouvelle Vague) is a French art movie movement that began in the late 1950s. The movement was known for not following normal filmmaking methods. During this era, many movies experimented on editing, visual style, and storytelling.[1] The New Wave is often seen as one of the most important movements in the history of cinema.[2]
