George Edward Glass(born in 1960,Oregon) is an American businessman and diplomat. He has been confirmed by the United States Senate as the next United States Ambassador to Portugal.[1] This nomination was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on August 3, 2017.[2] He took office on August 25, 2017.

Glass was the owner of MGG Development LLC in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He founded Pacific Crest Securities in Portland, Oregon in 1990 and served as the company's president until 2014.
He is a trustee for Oregon Health & Science University and a former trustee for the University of Oregon.[3][4]
