George Washington Gale Ferris Jr.

American engineer (1859-1896)

George Washington Gale Ferris, Jr. (January 15, 1869 – November 22, 1896[1]) was an American engineer. He is most known for creating the original Ferris wheel for the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition.
