Highland

mountainous region or elevated mountainous plateau

The term highland or upland is used to mean any mountainous region or elevated mountainous plateau. Generally speaking, upland (or uplands) means ranges of hills,[1] typically up to 500-600 meters (1,600-2,000 feet). Highland (or highlands) usually is used to mean ranges of low mountains.[2]
