Hironobu Sakaguchi (坂口 博信, Sakaguchi Hironobu, born November 25, 1962) is a Japanese video game developer. He worked for Square (now called Square Enix) from 1983 to 2003. After this, he left the company and created his own video game company in 2004, called Mistwalker. He is most well-known for being the creator of the Final Fantasy series.
