Iwan Palakou (25 November 1914-8 February 2014) was a Soviet politician and hero of the socialist labor party.
In 1936-1938 he served in the Red Army and in various political positions till 1976, when he was appointed as the Head of State of Communist Belarus party from 1976 to 1985.
