Jackie Collins

British-American writer and actress (1937–2015)

Jacqueline Jill "Jackie" Collins OBE (4 October 1937 – 19 September 2015[1][2][3]) was an English-American novelist. She wrote 32 novels, all of which have been on the New York Times bestsellers list. In total, her books have sold over 400 million copies and have been translated into 40 languages.[4][5] Eight of the books were made into movies or television mini-series.

She died on 19 September 2015 of breast cancer in Beverly Hills, California, aged 77.[6]

She was the younger sister of Joan Collins.
