Jacques Boël
Jacques Pol Pascal Marie Ghislain Boël (31 March 1929 – 21 January 2022) was a Belgian industrialist.[1][2][3]

Boël studied for civil engineer. He headed among others the steelworks "Usines Gustave Boël". He sold the group's steel activities to Tata Steel Netherlands in 1997 and Duferco in 1999. From then he focused on the financial sector. Later he was a director at "Union Financière Boël" and chairman of Domanoy, a domain of 2200 ha in Court-Saint-Étienne owned by the Boël family.[1][2][3]
Boël married Sybille de Selys Longchamps (1941) on 11 September 1962, but divorced in 1978. Boës was known to the general public as the legal father for fifty years of Delphine Boël. However she could prove that she was the daughter of Albert II of Belgium and so became Princess of Belgium in 2020.[1]
