John Havelock Parker

Canadian politician (1929-2020)

John Havelock Parker, OC (February 2, 1929 – March 9, 2020) was a Canadian politician. He was Commissioner of the Canadian Northwest Territories from April 15, 1979 to July 31, 1989.[1][2] He was Deputy Commissioner of Northwest Territories from 1967 to 1979. From 1964 to 1967, he was Mayor of Yellowknife. Parker was born in Didsbury, Alberta, Canada.

Parker died on March 9, 2020 in British Columbia at the age of 91.[3][4]
