Katherine "Kate" Mulgrew (born April 29, 1955 in Dubuque, Iowa) is an American actress. She works on stage and in movies and television programs. She starred in Star Trek: Voyager and Orange Is the New Black. She acted in Throw Momma from the Train. She has worked in other television programs and movies.
