Kenji (era)

Japanese era from April 1275 to February 1278

Kenji (建治) was a Japanese era (年号,, nengō,, lit. "year name") which came after Bun'ei and before Kōan. The period started April 1275 and ended February 1278.[1] During this time, the emperor was Go-Uda-tennō (後宇多天皇).[2]
