Kentucky's 6th congressional district
political district in the central part of the state
Kentucky's 6th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The district is in the middle part of the state. The cities of Lexington, Richmond, and Frankfort which is the state capital are in the district. In the district there are more people who are like the Democratic Party then the Republican Party but the district is a Republican district. The people who live in the district elect a person to represent the district in the United States House of Representatives. The district is currently represented by Republican Andy Barr.
