Ladob is a food in the Seychelles. It is eaten either as a savoury dish or as a dessert.

It is a staple food. Many people eat it several times a week.

The dessert version is made from ripe plantain and sweet potatoes. It may have cassava, breadfruit or even corossol. It is boiled with coconut milk, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla pods until the fruit is soft and the sauce is creamy[1]

The savory version usually includes salted fish, cooked like the dessert version, with plantain, cassava and breadfruit, but with salt instead of sugar and without vanilla.

It can be served hot or cold.
