Marilyn Ware

American diplomat

Marilyn Ware (November 4, 1943 – December 14, 2017) was an American politician, businesswoman and philanthropist. She was the United States Ambassador to Finland from March 2006 to March 2008 after being nominated by George W. Bush. She was a member of the Republican Party. Ware was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Ware died on December 14, 2017 in Denver, Colorado of complications from Alzheimer's disease at the age of 74.[1]
