Marion, Alabama

county seat of Perry County, Alabama, United States

Marion is the county seat of Perry County, Alabama[3]. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 3,176.[2] The city was first called Muckle Ridge. It was renamed after a hero of the American Revolution, Francis Marion.
