Matt Vogel
American former puppeteer for Kermit and voice actor
Matthew J. "Matt" Vogel II (born October 6, 1970) is an American puppeteer. He has worked with the Muppets, Sesame Street, and Oobi.
In 2017, he started playing Kermit the Frog. He was an understudy for the character Big Bird since 1998. Caroll Spinney, the first person that played Big Bird, retired in 2018. From then on, Matt Vogel played Big Bird full time.[1]
