Murine typhus

typhus transmitted by fleas (Xenopsylla cheopis), usually on rats

Murine Typhus is a disease spread by fleas.[1] It is also called endemic typhus. It is a type of typhus.[1] Sometimes this disease is mistaken for a viral infection because the symptoms are similar. Murine Typhus is treated with antibiotics.
