Out of the Box is an American television series that premiered on Playhouse Disney in 1998 and ended it's run in 2004. The show had reruns in the United Kingdom in 2006. The show starts off with two people who are hosting "The Box" a playhouse made out of cardboard. The hosts are Tony James and Vivian B. McLaughlin they sing songs, craft things and act out of plays. The series is created by Douglas Love and Ellen G. Kent, even the two episodes were released on DVD and VHS. and Out of the Box has a Christmas and Halloween DVD. The series was based on Douglas Love's books from HarperCollins, the series won three awards from "Parents Choice".
