Rakat

Rak'ah ( ركعة‎‎ rak'ah, plural: ركعات rakaʿāt), consists of the prescribed movements while offering prayers to God (Allah). It refers to a single unit of Islamic prayers.

The number of rak'ahs in the obligatory prayer

• Fajr 2 rak'ats
• 4 rak'ats of Zuhr
• Asr 4 rak'ats
• Maghrib 3 rak'ats
• Isha 4 rak'ats

On Friday, the Friday prayer, the noon prayer, the prayer is not obligatory two rakaata.
