Robert Spaemann

German philosopher

Robert Spaemann (5 May 1927 – 10 December 2018) was a German Roman Catholic philosopher.[1] He was thought of as a member of the Ritter-School. He was born in Berlin. Spaemann's focus was on Christian ethics. He was known for his work in bioethics, ecology, and human rights. Spaemann was internationally known and his work is highly regarded by Pope Benedict XVI.[2]

Spaemann died on 10 December 2018 in Berlin at the age of 91.[3]
