Softcore pornography (or simply softcore) is pornography that is not as sexually explicit as the hardcore type. Sexual activity in softcore pornography is typically simulated, although it is sometimes real. Although it is not as graphic as hardcore, movie censorship of soft pornography may restrict it to adults in many countries.
