Stanislavski's system
a progression of techniques used to train actors to create believable characterizations for their performances.
Stanislavski’s system was how Konstantin Stanislavski trained actors. It involves an actor feeling the emotions of his character. This system inspired Stanislavski’s student Lee Strasberg to create method acting, which Strasberg just called The Method.
