The English Language Wikipedia has established that Benjamin Banneker is a notable African American innovator. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_Banneker In addition, he appears on Biography.com's web site: http://www.biography.com/people/benjamin-banneker-9198038 This is not vandalism. This page has been created as part of a class project to increase the representation of African American innovators in the Simple English Wikipedia. It will be fleshed out in the coming weeks.
