monocultural bias change

This article really takes the biscuit for cultural bias. As far as I know, there is no data on how widespread this problem is in the world at large. If there is a reliable source, then put it in. Please do not write as if what happens in the USA is automatically true of the world. In addition, the report by Ingersoll lumps maths and science together. Certainly there is a much more serious problem with maths teachers than with science teachers generally, and little problem with biology teachers.
