On the other hand, countries with repressive governments often have very lengthy and complicated constitutions, and their regimes are often corrupt." -- This is biased or at least oversimplified. Exactly how are we supposed to be defining "a free country" here?? Also, it is certainly possible to have a very repressive government with *no* constitution, or a very brief one (Rule #1: Whatever the Leader says, goes. Rule #2: See Rule #1.)
