I removed the Commons link to Gypsum because it referred to articles made of the chemical gypsum, not the surface foundation used by painters. The ambiguity is why Gesso is the right name for the paint foundation used by artists. Macdonald-ross (talk) 10:08, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
