Citizenship; and use of British & Great Britain

First, on citizenship: all citizens of the United Kingdom are permitted double citizenship, so the ruling for sportspersons is not to do with this.

Second, British is used officially as the adjective pertaining to the United Kingdom. You are either a citizen of the United Kindom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or a British citizen. The treatment of Northern Ireland in the Olympics is nothing special. In the Olympics there is one British team; whereas in football all the parts of the UK compete as separate entities. This template comes from the German Wikipedia. In the articles about teams which compete in the Olympic Games, I think this is better than an infobox. {{Olympiabilanz|Flag of the United Kingdom.svg|GBR}}
