Famous films change

It's not like I'm an expert on the genre.. but I've not heard of any of these 'famous films'. 82.3.29.8 18:33, 28 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Same goes to here, never heard of them, but I will not change them incase they really are famous non-anime hentai-films... | 80.186.128.115 00:05, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't know much, but in one of my 3rd year classes we studied 'The Kitten in The Basement'. It's apparently out of print now though there are some doujin you might find via peer-to-peer programs. IIRC, Yakima (I thought it was Yakama but not sure enough to correct it) was the mentor of Hong. Like I said, I didn't study the genre in depth, but I can vouch for the authenticity of two of the directors, and one of the films. I really recommend it too, if you can get hold of a copy, there's a really powerful scene toward the end, where it is revealed that the main protagonist is of the lineage of both a survivor of Nagasaki and the Manhattan Project scientist Oppenheimer. It is where the film gets it's title; the idea of something beautiful hidden inside something dark and silent, that will eventually grow and be released. I was very impressed. Xiao I don't know, though it sounds vaguely familiar however. 212.159.122.65 01:38, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
