The Monroe Doctrine does not say that the United States should not be involved with other countries. Actually that is completely wrong. The Monroe Doctrine says that the United States will help any place in North America that wants to get rid of European control over themselves. - KeithTyler 21:15, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
