Erratum? change

There seem to be one error on this page: there are two entries for Leonardo da Vinci. The one with dates of 1421-1457 would seem to be for Andrea del Castagno. I've made the change but left a link to a non-existent Wikipedia page for this artist.--Jobowo (talk) 14:12, 10 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Separate 'Late mediaeval'? change

The page is rather unwieldy. May I suggest separating 'Late mediaeval artists' off into a page of their own? Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:08, 2 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

If no-one responds, I'm going to do it, because I think this page stretches the meaning of "Renaissance" too far. Macdonald-ross (talk) 17:03, 9 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Need for shortening change

Some sections are ancillary to the main topic of the page, and need shortening. I've shortened the proto-renaissance as it was disproportionately long. Macdonald-ross (talk) 08:16, 30 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Museums clean-up change

The museums column should list only selected examples. To list all museums which hold an artist is quite impossible. The selection should favour Italy, for obvious reasons, and cities with large tourist influx. A small museum in Outer Mongolia (for example) should be listed only if it holds the only known example of an important artist's work.

The defect of all long, complicated tables is that they become difficult to read and almost impossible to edit. Macdonald-ross (talk) 10:16, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Needs a fix in the references change

Hello! I just found something that needs to be changed. One of the resources refers to Garner & the name of the book was changed to "butts butts" etc. I looked up the ISBN to see if I could make a quick change, but the ISBN does not match the listed author. Thanks! 50.80.139.207 (talk) 21:45, 20 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
