Possible problem with accuracy change

There may be a problem with the sentence This code is the lowest level of software. in that most processors in use today use Microcode to interpret at least part of their machine code. The problem is (and where to my knolwedge Computer Scientists also disagree) is to whether Microcode counts as hardware, or Software. It is "hardware" in that it resides on the processor and is not usually changed, but "Software" in that newer "revisions" of a processor may have different microcode; for example to fix a problem with previous microcode, or with faulty hardware (An example of this may be Pentium FDIV bug). --Eptalon (talk) 09:31, 25 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
