Different levels? change

I think we still need to make a difference between a conservatoire/conservatorium (-> tertiary education in music/arts/theatre), a specialized school (-> also teaches music/dance, etc, usually integrated in a curriculum that terminates with A-Levels/GCSE/...) and a music school (-> specialized, usually in addition/independent of school curriculum, where people are taught in these subjects).

I don't know if English has different names for these; but the school a 7 year old is sent to to learn to play the flute/piano/... in his/her free time is different form the St.Petersburg Conservatorium we have the picture of. At least in Europe, theatres often have "associated" music schools where people are given some education.

Just thoughts.--Eptalon (talk) 12:54, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
