This article has lots of information about the biblical flood - in fact, rather more than about Noah's ark. Shouldn't another page be created about the flood and some of this information be put into that page? Classical Esther (talk) 05:59, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

(<-) Started Deluge myth, as a general page about such myths. As to the story of the flood in the Bible: It is very similar to the one in the Epic of Gilgamesh; the names of the protagonists are different, and the end part (the sending of doves). IIRC, current research suggests that both stories describe a real event which occurred in the area of the Black Sea.--Eptalon (talk) 09:57, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
