Simplification

I realise that as an article about religion, it can be very difficult to simplify the language, but this desperately needs it. There are some of the religious concepts that I just don't feel I understand enough to simplify, specifically:

• Important teachings include the unconscious state of the dead and the doctrine of an investigative judgment. The church is also known for its emphasis on diet and health, its holistic understanding of the person, its promotion of religious liberty, and its conservative principles and lifestyle.
• Adventist doctrine resembles trinitarian Protestant theology, with premillennial and Arminian emphases. Adventists uphold teachings such as the infallibility of Scripture, the substitutionary atonement, the resurrection of the dead and justification by faith alone, and are therefore often considered evangelical.

POV

This statement sounds kind of POV in that it is persuading you to believe that it is true "Just as in the Bible this day is called the "Sabbath"." What do you think? Frogger48 (talk) 02:48, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
