Reference change

The mere addition of a name is not sufficient for a reference. The purposes of references are:

  1. to permit readers to check the accuracy of what the page says
  2. to give readers clues as to where more information may be found

Putting in helpful references is a positive act, and should be complete enough to allow interested readers find the source if they wish. Macdonald-ross (talk) 10:31, 20 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
