Usage
Template:ISO 639 name awa is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code awa, for example: {{Translated page |awa |name of page at Awadhi Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Awadhi Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Awadhi Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |awa}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|awa| some text in Awadhi}} wraps the text with <span lang="awa"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Awadhi-language text. Also available is {{Lang-awa |some text in Awadhi}} which displays as Awadhi: some text in Awadhi.
- {{R from other language|awa|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Awadhi-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|awa}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Awadhi-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
