Usage
Template:ISO 639 name kk is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code kk, for example: {{Translated page |kk |name of page at Kazakh Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Kazakh Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Kazakh Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |kk}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|kk| some text in Kazakh}} wraps the text with <span lang="kk"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Kazakh-language text. Also available is {{Lang-kk |some text in Kazakh}} which displays as Kazakh: some text in Kazakh.
- {{R from other language|kk|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Kazakh-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|kk}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Kazakh-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
