Usage
Template:ISO 639 name ku is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code ku, for example: {{Translated page |ku |name of page at Kurdish Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Kurdish Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Kurdish Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |ku}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|ku| some text in Kurdish}} wraps the text with <span lang="ku"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Kurdish-language text. Also available is {{Lang-ku |some text in Kurdish}} which displays as Kurdish: some text in Kurdish.
- {{R from other language|ku|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Kurdish-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ku}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Kurdish-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
