The Book of Pooh is an American children's series that aired on Playhouse Disney on Disney Channel, It is the third series to feature the characters from the Disney franchise based on A.A. Mline's works like the live action series Welcome to Pooh Corner and The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh which was airing on ABC and The Disney Channel in 1988–1991. It was premiered from 2001 to 2003. It is produced by Shadow Projects and Walt Disney Pictures. A direct to video spin off based on the puppetry television series called The Book of Pooh: Stories of Heart, the series is created by Mitchell Kriegman. The series earned three awards from the Emmy's and won the "Outstanding Directing in a Children's Series" at the 29th Daytime Awards in 2002.
