South African singer-songwriter

Tyla Laura Seethal (Born 30 January 2002), South African singer and songwriter.[1] She was born and raised in Edenvale, East of Johannesburg and signed to Epic Records in 2021 following the domestic success of her debut single "Getting Late" featuring Kooldrink.[2]

Early Life change

Tyla was born in Edenvale; East of Johannesburg in 2002 and was the daughter of Sharleen Seethal and Sherwin Seethal. She grew up liking music and started making TikTok videos with her sister Sydney in her school years and in her last year of high school, started making music. Her first single Getting Late gave her a huge social media popularity. She rose to fame with her 2023 single Water and got nominated and also won a Grammy award the following year
