Saijo sake festival is a sake festival held in Hiroshima prefecture in west Japan. Sake is Japan's traditional alcoholic drink ,and this festival is one of the biggest sake festival in Japan. Sake festival is conducted on the second Saturday of October at Saijo central park and Saijo sake brewery street in Saijo town in Hiroshima. Sake festival was started in 1990. Ever since, Sake festival became the biggest event for Saijo that not only drinker but also nondrinker so for example family which has various generation can enjoy this event. Every year two hundred thousand people take part in this event for two days. Saijo central park is main site, and various events are held.

Events of sake brewery are conducted by eight brewery in Saijo brewery organization. You can drink for free and buy premium sake.Each Sake breweries sell original sake, nabe, ramen, dessert and so on.

Kamotsuru brewery change

This brewery makes "Kamotsuru". This name comes from old place name. When Obama president visited to Japan, he drank this sake.

Hakubotan brewery change

This Brewery is the oldest one in Saijo.

This name origin is turtle that anspicious animal.

Sake park change

This is one of main hall. You can compare sake flavers in the hall.In 2014, sake were gathered 1018 sakes from all of 47 prefectures for the first time in history. We have to pay 2,100 yen for enter this area, but ticket sold in advance is 1,800 yen.

Pleasure without sake change

There are "waku waku park", "bishu nabe hall" and "Kizuna hall" for children or no drinking people.

Waku Waku Park change

It is park that children enjoy character show, game area and so on.

Bishu Nabe Hall change

You can enjoy eating nabe that is used sake without alchol, so children do too.
