Hi, I have to make another comment about putting emoticons in edit summaries; this is unnecessary. An edit summary should be neutral about what you describe of the edits you made to the article, not about facial expressions. Sorry I have to be really blunt, I just wanted to raise my point. Basically it's online text based chat. An online client for IRC is located at [1]. SimpleWP's official channel is #wikipedia-simple, although there are other channels.
