Service award change

You have passed your 600th edit and are qualified to display the following award. Your next level is when you hit the 1200 edit mark, Journeyman editor (you already have more than enough time in service and you need about 200 more edits). Congratulations! User:Rus793 (talk) 14:02, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! I'll put it on my userpage. Krett12 (talk) 17:24, 4 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your request at wp:AN change

Hi, Krett12. You need to make that request via email. Send it to someone with the oversight right. Special:ListUsers/oversight shows who has that right. --Auntof6 (talk) 01:40, 3 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Auntof6: Okay, but is it okay if I say something like "Please check your email" on their talk page? Krett12 (talk) 01:57, 3 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that would be fine. :) --Auntof6 (talk) 05:35, 3 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Auntof6: I generally don't check my online email unless I have a reason to and shouldn't expect other people to. Krett12 (talk) 14:25, 3 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion of User:Krett12/huggle3.css change

The page you wrote, User:Krett12/huggle3.css, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. Krett12 (talk) 01:58, 3 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

{{Main Page}} change

What is the purpose of this template? Chenzw  Talk  03:00, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

I explained it in the summary, but I'll do it again, sure! :) I was reading thru some old talk page revisions and something (don't remember what) made me think that people might type {{Main Page}} expecting the main page (not likely, but it doesn't hurt), so I made this redirect to put the correct syntax. If you don't agree with it, then please let me know. Krett12 (talk) 03:14, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
There should not be any reason for editors to transclude the Main Page, and even if there's a need to, it is up to editors to use the correct transclusion syntax. Please give the link to the relevant talk page revision(s). Chenzw  Talk  03:26, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
I don't remember the links, so please delete it. I may be less "disruptive" than before, but I'm still not perfect :/ Also, I think it was Simple talk or an RfA or something, don't think it was an actual *talk page* per se. Krett12 (talk) 03:31, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your warning to user 94.197.121.8 change

Krett12, you cannot give a final warning to an IP user if there have not been earlier warnings. I removed the warning you left and left some lower-level ones in its place. Please use lower-level warnings to start with. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 06:09, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

There have been earlier warnings. That's why I used the long-term abuse one. Krett12 (talk) 06:21, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
If you consider the one from February "too early" then that makes sense, but I do know that policy and posted that with the impression that past warnings had been given. Krett12 (talk) 06:35, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yes, the one from February was too long ago. With IP users, we don't assume that all edits were by the same person. The longer in between edits, the more we have to give the benefit of the doubt that edits were by different people. As it turns out, the February one was also an inappropriate final warning. Even if it had been an appropriate level, though, warnings have to start over from lower levels after too much time has gone by. --Auntof6 (talk) 07:29, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Your warnings to Bu193 change

At the time Bu193 made that edit on User talk:ThePlatypusofDoom, the original user himself had not said anything, so it was perfectly appropriate to nominate the user talk page for deletion. What Bu193 did was not vandalism. Also, per en:WP:REMOVED, users are free to removed warnings/messages from their own talk pages, and other editors should leave it as that, and not attempt to restore messages. Don't do that again. Journeyman Service award change

Congratulations! You have now passed your 1,200th edit and are qualified to display the following award. BTW, you may use any form of the award you like and you may make service awards to yourself (although it always seems better if someone else awards it to you). Now if you notice an editor is due a service award (time and edits), pay it forward and award it to them! Thank you for your contributions to the project.

This editor is a Journeyman Editor and has the right to show this Service Badge.

Wow, thank you :) Krett12 (talk) 17:12, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Slightly late, but... change

These are special "Welcome-back cookies" baked fresh just for you!
<stage whisper>...will someone please get rid of the bag the cookies came in before Krett12 sees it?</stage whisper>
Etamni | ✉   00:19, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! Also, I don't get the "bag of cookies" joke. Can you explain it like I'm five? Krett12 (talk) 01:02, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Sigh....
Cookies that are baked fresh don't come in bags, right? So if cookies came in a bag (or a template, perhaps), they weren't actually baked fresh. If someone wants you to think that cookies are fresh from the oven, they will hide the package so you can't tell they aren't homemade. Etamni | ✉   06:31, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Oh. I was focusing more on the "Welcome back" than the "baked fresh" part. Maybe you're five >:) Krett12 (talk) 05:18, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Nah, just kidding. Krett12 (talk) 05:18, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

RFA change

It's been an hour since you opened the RFA. It'd be a good idea to talk to the user you nominated. In fact, that probably should have happened BEFORE the nomination. Only (talk) 02:16, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

And if it's a real nomination, you need to add it to the standard requests page. That should have happened if you used the "Nominate for adminship" button. --Auntof6 (talk) 03:21, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Only: BEFORE the nomination? That ruins the point of someone else nominating you.
@Auntof6: I *did* press the button. Krett12 (talk) 03:45, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
1)Yes, before the nomination. That way, you don't use resources (creating the page, people spending time considering it, etc.) on a nomination that might be declined. 2) Hmmm, then something must have gone wrong, because it isn't showing up on Wikipedia:Requests for permissions. You'll need to add it manually --Auntof6 (talk) 03:59, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yes, you should definitely have talked to m... er, the editor, before making the nomination. If you look at the nomination page now, you will find that the editor has declined the nomination. Etamni | ✉   07:06, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yes, BEFORE the nomination. You go to the user and say something to the effect of "I'd like to nominate you for adminship, would you be interested?" Only (talk) 10:05, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism warnings to other users change

You are not the one who reverted 157.119.105.79's vandalism on Wikipedia, so stop interfering with the bot and replacing the bot's warning with your own one. Chenzw  Talk  04:07, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
