Names of Turkish Articles

@MathXplore, I have a question, why in english wikipedia, mostly turkish names of places, people etc. who are located in Turkey are removed and a Greek name is given? this discriminates against the turkish language. Terms

Hello, @MathXplore, User @Gotanda, want that my Article Didicoy should be deleted, because the reason its a Non English term, the User explained. But if its so, then also Vallahades, Dasikane, Xoraxane, Yörüks, etc. must be changend in simple english words, like Greek Muslims, Turkish Gypsy, Bulgarian Gypsy, Turkish nomads, isnt it? I didnt know that No english word is not allowed to use in simple english, because in eglish wikipedia, also the non english word Gadjo (Non Roma) have there own Page. Categorizing

Hi, Math. When you categorize a page, as you did with H2Pro, would you please try to categorize completely? You added the category "Companies of Asia" to this page, but it also needed a few others to be complete. I've added some, although it's possible that others would also be appropriate. The issue is that as soon as you add one category, the page disappears from lists of uncategorized pages, so we may never find it again to add the other categories. Thanks.

About QD A3

Hi, I've noticed that very often when I request QD A3 you go in and remove most of the copy leaving a one or two sentence stub. I just wanted to explain my thinking on this. We get a lot of copy pastes, as I am sure you have seen. This is a problem and requires a lot of clean up. I prefer to just delete them as a disincentive to the (often) IPs or other editors who create lots of them. If their work gets deleted, maybe they will stop. Patrolling

As I often see your name when it comes to the uncateorised pages, I felt it appropriate to add a few suggestion (it is basically patrolling new articles so this applies) There are three key points. Two are category based the other is general.

1. Make sure it is the best category. When placing an article, try to make certain it is at the lowest, most correct, level of the branch of the cat tree being used. This is best done from the preview of source mode. Its hard to do in visual mode. It takes some finessing when using HotCat.
2. Get it in all the correct cats. This part is very hard. Even the most experiences users often miss valid cats. Practice makes it easier and focusing on a specific topic will help more. This is not always an option for most people as they are dealing with whatever articles they are given and not a host of similar articles. Some groups are easier then others (people and places) I have done a lot of work on TV programs and such so I do well with categories there. I at least know what type of categories are likely to be needed and which ones to try to include. They do not always exist (yet) but I have a good idea atleast which branches of the tree is should be connected to.
3. Tagging / cleanup: When working with a new article to cat it, several issues are easily noticed. Fixing them is ideal but it is not likely viable. If it is a small stub article, there are a couple things that are easy fixes to make it a lot better. Bold the topic, link the main points (nationality and occupation on bios) , These two can be easily done in Visual. Pop over to en and steal their infobox. I will often take the entire intro with the infobox and do a quick simplification / linking. The more often this is done, the more experience you get in what articles are on the wiki and it helps to make a better editor. At the very least: tag to article with what is wrong ({{complex}}, {{Wikify}}. whatever) so it is easier to get noticed. Realistically though, do not expect others to handle the fixes. It is rare to happen here.
